In the 2nd of a series of Top Mods.. Introducing the Top Spoilers for your GT86

Whether you like them big or small, there is no denying that the standard body lines of the GT86 are begging for a little bit of lovin.

1. Killagram Spoiler

This one is insane, it's mainly here to draw you into the post. I can't imagine anyone getting away with this one in Australia, but if you are keen I have seen this kit on Ebay for about $2500+ Delivery.

2. TRD Spoiler

Back in 2012-2013 just about the only spoiler you could get besides from the ghastly standard and AERO spoilers were the TRD and TRD Style. These became a very common sight to see on local cars that you could be mistaken for thinking that Toyota Aus actually released the cars like this, they probably should have. CT Auto Parts sell these for about $199 if you don't want to go full JDM and get the legit TRD version at much higher $$$.

3. AERO Spoiler

If you got a little click happy on the options for your 86 you probably ended up with this already. I'm putting this on this list only because it is a good quality item and it is OEM. It's a love it or hate it option. I cant fathom why they didn't just release it with the TRD spoiler above. You can usually find people on the net offering to boot swap to avoid having to fill holes in the boot-lid. Expect to pay around $350-$600 2nd hand and over $1000 from Toyota.

4. Leg Sport Ducktail

This is the best spoiler you can buy for your 86. It ticks all the boxes for me, its JDM, high quality, unique and in my opinion perfectly fits the shape of the 86. I was lucky enough to swap my factory bootlid with the car above when he was returning it to stock. I am aware that some companies are starting to advertise Leg Sport Style spoilers on FB and Ebay. I have no experience with these but I can vouch for the original Leg Sport to have lasted over 3 years. It will cost you $450 + Delivery unpainted or you can get the Carbon Version for $600 + Delivery.

5. APR GTC-200

Track-day warriors I am firmly looking at you. This is for the serious track-day nut only that likes hold the Jandle flat around any high-speed corner. I don't want to see this on your street car at stock height and stock wheels. Word of warning though... you need to reinforce your boot-lid as these will bend the sheet metal under high speed. You can buy this from Pro Speed Racing for about $1500.
